The meteorological analyst has said that Karachi will be under the grip of cold wave from today.
Meteorological analyst says that night temperature in some areas in Karachi may drop to single digit while daytime temperature is likely to reach 25 degree Celsius.
Regarding the weather of Karachi, the meteorological analyst says that the temperature in the suburbs may go up to 7 to 8 degrees.
The temperature may drop to 8 to 9 degrees in Malir, Sarjani and Gulshan-i Mimar areas of Karachi.
Apart from this, mercury may drop to 4 to 5 degrees Celsius in most parts of Sindh and fog is also likely in Upper Sindh.
Winter rain
Weather analyst says that another series of westerly winds may affect Balochistan, the western system is expected to bring rain and snowfall in Balochistan from December 28.
According to the meteorological analyst, rains are also expected in the coastal areas. There will be rain in Hub Gadani while there will be a chance of drizzle in Karachi.
